This Summer we've had some really great movies but I think my absolute favorite has been Total Recall.
Not just because I like action films that can really pass off as reality; or because I saw a hint of Star Wars in this movie; or because Collin Farrell is really a great actor.
Hats go off to Jessica Biel for executing a great role. You've come a long way from Seventh Heaven.
Kate Beckinsale, acted like a really crazed mad woman bent on killing her target. Don't ever want to get her upset!
You know I'm always one for finding the "hidden" message. The golden nugget so to speak. I believe every film maker has a message to tell us, but he uses different genres of this art form to send his or her message.
In the midst of all the flying cars, gun shots, labor workers and experimental science involving people passing through the core of the earth, I caught onto one message about knowing yourself!
Collin Farrell's line, "I don't know who I was, but I know who I am" is something that we should really take to heart.
Many will judge you as they did Collin's character Hauser because of who you were. Although what we've done in the past does matter, it's really about what you're doing now to change the future that matters more.
